This is great!

I never player MBN2, but this is a great mix! How are you doing on my request? I'm super excited to see what you come up with!

Very soothing!

I really like this dude! This is a very chill remix, I enjoyed listening to it in the background. As relaxing as it is, it isn't boring, which is a BIG plus. Nice job, you're improving with each new installment!

Dude

The ambient intro is amazing, the clarity, wow! You really do an awesome job with transitions and adding new elements into the piece. I'm not a big D&B fan, but this was not repetitive at all. This actually remainds me of some mixing that my friend Jermel did. This is just badass. I couldn't do better if I tried, and boy have I tried hard!

Rig responds:

Thank you very much for the vote of confidence! :D
This was like my second serious attempt at DnB too. I seem to have a knack...

I like it!

You're right, it's good for menus. The real deal is short and repetitive too, no need to worry about that, ignore the last guy.

Better than original

This never was my favorite, but I like what you did with it, breathed new life into it, keeps the integrity of a MMX song, but adds new depth.

Very awesome!

My girl and I were listening to this, and she said this kicks ass, I have to agree, the instrument set sounds kinda like somehing from Final Fantasy X, which isn't a bad thing.

NICE

You should also do the title from MMX3, that would be neato! What programs are you using, anyway? I plan on buying Reason once I upgrade to a desktop.

Zero-Resurrected responds:

I use 3 programs:
1. FL Studio XXL
2. Reason 3.0
3. Guitar Pro 5

Pretty badass!

I really like the lead-in to the main theme, really made it a new song. I think the ONLY gripe I would have, since this is the shiznit, would be that the beat doesnt play a background role to the melody. Other than that, I'd say this captures the song really well, a very nice remix, better than any other BB I've heard, and there arent many! WOOT!

Very awesome!

Well, I promised to review stuff, and here I go! I gotta say the instrument arrangement compliments what the composers were originally doing like 14 years ago. I can actually see this as the theme in an updated version of the game, which I can;t say for over half of theMMX remixes out there, so good job!!

Zero-Resurrected responds:

Thanks for the review Aresdev! I enjoy hearing from fans of my work.

Pretty good for number one!

MIDI, not bad at all, very well written. Sounds like it could be a Final Fantasy soundtrack. (An older one only because it is MIDI) This loops pretty well, and is pretty clear. I think the only gripe I have is that it is slightly repetitive. I think youhave something going, so keep up the good work!!

TheWisestMagi responds:

Thank you!

I do think that I could have done more with dynamics though, like when the low part takes over the melody from the beginning that the middle part starts, I think that I should have crescendoed the mid-stringed part when it comes in with it's little melody.

Also, this song was basically based off of purely inspiration because I really don't konw my way around the program enough to use all of the effects.

But thanks for the constructive feedback Aresdev!

After a 3 year hiatus, spent mostly perfecting my live mixing chops and playing football, I've decided to come out of retirement. I have new ideas and will start by uploading some remastered selections, followed by new material.
